Questions about gamified studying

What does 'gamified study timer' mean?
It means your study sessions have game-like rewards: virtual salary for completing shifts, a simulated stock portfolio to invest in, daily streaks to maintain, and badges to unlock. The goal is to make consistent studying feel inherently rewarding — not just a means to an end.
Can I lose my virtual money?
Yes — just like real investing, stock prices in the simulation go up and down. Your portfolio value can fall if you buy stocks that drop. This is intentional: it makes the portfolio feel meaningful without any real financial risk.
Is there a leaderboard or multiplayer?
Not yet. StudySalary is currently a solo experience focused on personal progress and consistency. Multiplayer features are something we may explore in the future.
